Adapting to the times

MFG, is a charitable organization set-up as a collective approach by the mining industry in Goa to address the social and environmental issues concerning the community living in the mining belt of Goa. Over its existence over the past two decades, the Foundation has created a niche for itself in the developmental field in the State.

Though it was funded by the mining industry initially, with a change in the industry landscape over the last decade and funding drying up from the mining industry, MFG has moved on to execute various projects funded by governments and corporates, especially in the field of livelihoods, waste management and consulting and is known as a sincere Implementing Agency with a boots on the ground approach.

MFG is today geared to move on and make a larger impact through forging strategic partnerships with like-minded organizations, government agencies, corporations, and academia to leverage resources, expertise, and networks.

As MFG embarks on its journey to scale up its work in social development and environmental sustainability, it remains steadfast in its commitment of making a positive and lasting impact. By adopting a strategic approach, forging partnerships and leveraging technology the organization is poised to catalyze transformative change and contribute to a more sustainable and equitable future for all.
